CEARCALL focuses primarily on conducting Artistic Research; merging the contrasting activities of the artist and the researcher. Artistic Research is an emerging discipline lying at the intersection between making and analysing, thus bringing together two distinct modes of operation (De Assis, 2020). In undertaking these aims CEARCALL aims to conceptualise methods for embodying emerging academic understandings of Satish Kumar’s ‘Soul, Soil, Society’ trinity.
CEARCALL is currently interested in researching; rewilding and positive environmentalism, Indigineous Spiritualities, Deep Ecology/Spiritual Ecology and Entheogens as linked to Environmental action.

CEARCALL is interested in conducting interdisciplinary research and working alongside degrowth economists, climate scientists, ecological philosophers and eco-feminist thinkers- translating their ideas into the wider communal consciousness. In the past this has been achieved through interdisciplinary exhibitions held through the Klimaat Museum in Amsterdam in collaboration with the University of Amsterdam where CEARCALL arts is based.
